| Voraussetzungen | Our Customer is currently looking a web developer for PHP/MySQL website development, particularly for Joomla
powered websites. SEO / SEM skills will be a plus! They are looking for a creative and innovative developer to join their rapidly growing team for work on a wide variety of web projects. This is a full-time position, starting contract-to-hire and/or part-time. They're looking for people living in the Cape Town area, though they are open to possible virtual arrangements for the right person. Responsibilities * Custom PHP/MySQL coding (e.g., Joomla modules and custom db queries) * Website architecture planning * Installation and configuration of Joomla powered websites * Patch existing modules for additional functionality * Basic theme template coding from wireframes * Security updates * Bug fixes * Client contact throughout development process * Occasional support and maintenance of client sites * Work closely with other developers and designers Knowledge, Skills, Experience * PHP and MySQL programming/coding knowledge/experience required * Working knowledge and experience with Joomla strongly preferred * Unix/Linux, Apache, basic server administration knowledge a big plus * AJAX, Javascript, Java, Ruby, Apache, xml and/or Flash is a definite plus * Written and verbal communication skills * SEO and SEM skills would be a great plus! * Client relations skills for contact by phone, email and IM * Self-motivated and able to work independently, but also good at collaboration, taking direction and working with others * Proficiency in the English language.
